Mornington has a strong track record in establishing and managing investment partnerships, both as principal and advisor. We have been active throughout Western, Central and Eastern Europe and have established and/or co-invested in partnerships in Western Europe (UK, Germany) CEE Region (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Croatia, Estonia, Latvia, Bulgaria, Romania and Ukraine) and also in the resort sector in Asia and the Caribbean.

Barrington Hotels - Germany

Mornington advised upon the acquisition and redevelopment of a Munich Airport hotel for a UK developer and structured and participated in the project equity. Mornington also structured and negotiated the management agreements, and identified and closed the project debt financing.

Capfield - Estonia

Retail & Residential Development - Mornington arranged an MBO for Ober-Haus, one of the Baltic region’s most successful retail developers, with a club of high net worth investors, in 2003. Since then, Mornington principals have successfully co-invested in 8 separate projects in the region, exceeding €200million in investment value.

Groupe Olympe - France

Mornington advised on the identification and structuring of an equity investment and debt refinancing of a large office building in Paris with a private real estate investor. Mornington sourced both the equity and debt for the owner, who was able to exit with a 5x return on his equity within 18 months.
